Why We Built This

Too many Amazon seller resources are either trying to sell you an overpriced course or stuffed with generic SEO filler content that wastes your time. We wanted something different — tools you can open and use in 30 seconds, and content that gives you the actual answer instead of burying it under 2,000 words of fluff.

Every calculator uses the same formulas experienced sellers apply to their own businesses. Every guide includes worked examples with real numbers. Every comparison includes pricing tables, feature matrices, and an honest verdict.

Our Principles

  • Free first. Every tool works instantly with no account, no credit card, and no trial period that auto-charges you.
  • Accuracy matters. We research fees, formulas, and tool features carefully and update content when things change.
  • Respect your time. No autoplay videos, no "subscribe to read more" gates. You get the full content immediately.
  • Transparent monetization. We clearly disclose affiliate links and never let commissions influence our rankings or verdicts.

How We Stay Accurate

Accuracy is table stakes for seller tools. Here's our process:

  • Official sources only. Fee schedules, referral rates, and FBA dimensions come directly from Amazon's published fee pages and Seller Central documentation — never from third-party guesses.
  • Regular audits. We cross-check our calculators against the latest Amazon fee announcements (currently based on 2026 US/CA fee schedules) and update within 48 hours of any change.
  • Real-world testing. Every calculator is tested with actual SKU data from active seller accounts before launch. If a formula disagrees with Seller Central, we fix the formula.
  • Transparent updates. When Amazon changes fees or policies, we publish the update in our FBA Updates and update all affected tools simultaneously.

Editorial Review Process

SellerKit content is written and reviewed by the SellerKit editorial team, which combines Amazon selling experience with software and data analysis. We separate three types of pages so readers can understand the standard behind each recommendation:

  • Calculator and analyzer pages document the inputs, formulas, assumptions, and limits of each tool.
  • Guides are updated when Amazon fee schedules, program rules, or Seller Central workflows materially change.
  • Software comparisons disclose affiliate relationships, note pricing freshness, and prioritize fit by seller stage rather than commission rate.

When a page includes estimates, we explain the assumptions and link to related guides so sellers can verify the reasoning. When a page includes third-party software, we recommend checking the vendor's current pricing and plan limits before subscribing because tool features change often.

Who Builds This

SellerKit is built by a small team of active Amazon sellers and developers. We sell on Amazon ourselves, so we build the tools we actually need — not features that look good in a demo but nobody uses. Every tool on this site started as a spreadsheet or script we built for our own businesses.

How We Make Money

Some of our comparison and recommendation pages contain affiliate links. When you click through and subscribe to a tool, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the calculators free and the site running. We always disclose when affiliate links are present, and our verdicts are based on research and testing — not commission rates.
