How the PPC Ads Workspace Works

Upload your Amazon Sponsored Products reports, set an optimization goal, and get instant recommendations for which keywords to negate, harvest, adjust bids on, and where to reallocate budget. No signup, no server uploads.

1

Upload Reports

From Amazon Ads console, download 3 CSV reports (Search Term, Campaign, Placement) and drag them into the Upload Center. Data stays 100% in your browser.

2

Set Your Goal

Choose a goal mode (Launch / Rank / Efficiency / Profit) and set your target ACOS. This tells the engine how aggressively to classify keywords.

3

Get Recommendations

The workspace auto-analyzes your data: which keywords to negate, which to harvest, where to shift budget, and which placements are wasting money.

4

Track Progress

Take weekly snapshots to compare ACOS, spend, and sales over time. Re-upload fresh reports each week to see your optimization progress.

How to Download Reports from Amazon

  1. 1
    Open Amazon Advertising Console

Go to advertising.amazon.com and select your account.

  2. 2
    Navigate to Reports

Click Measurement and reportingSponsored ads reports.

  3. 3
    Create 3 reports

Click Create report and create each of these:

    • Search Term report — shows which customer search terms triggered your ads, with clicks, spend, and sales per term
    • Campaign report — shows campaign-level performance: budget, spend, ACOS, sales
    • Placement report — shows performance by ad placement: Top of Search, Product Pages, Rest of Search
  4. 4
Set time period to “Last 30 days” and run each report

Reports take 1-5 minutes to generate. Once complete, click Download to get the CSV file.

  5. 5
Upload all 3 CSVs to the workspace above

Drag each file into the correct slot in the Upload Center. The parser auto-detects report types and validates the data.

8 Modules, One Workflow

The workspace is organized as a sequential pipeline. Start with Upload, set your Goal, then work through the analysis modules. Each module builds on the data from previous steps.

1

Upload Center

Drag & drop your Amazon Sponsored Products CSV reports. The parser auto-detects report types, validates columns, and cross-links campaigns across all three reports.

2

Goal Profile

Set your optimization strategy. Launch mode tolerates higher ACOS to build ranking; Profit mode cuts wasteful spend. Target ACOS and minimum click thresholds control how keywords get classified.

3

Search Term Triage

Every search term from your report is auto-classified into 6 categories: Negate (wasting money), Harvest (promote to exact), Bid Up/Down, Keep Testing (not enough data), or No Action. You can override any classification.

4

Harvest & Negatives

Actionable lists grouped by type: Negative Exact (specific terms to block), Negative Phrase (common wasteful phrases detected via n-gram analysis), Harvest to Exact (winners to promote), and Keep Testing.

5

Campaign Budget Engine

See which campaigns are over- or under-spending relative to their budget. Get suggested daily budget adjustments based on your goal profile and actual spend/ACOS performance.

6

Placement Analyzer

Compare performance across Top of Search, Product Pages, and Rest of Search. Spot which placements convert well and which waste budget, with per-campaign breakdowns.

7

Action Queue

A unified to-do list of all recommended changes from triage, budget, and placement analysis. Filter by type, copy to clipboard, or export as CSV to implement in Seller Central.

8

Weekly Snapshots

Save a snapshot of your current metrics each week. Compare any two weeks side-by-side and track trend lines for ACOS, spend, sales, and orders over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I download these reports from Amazon?
Go to Amazon Advertising Console > Measurement and reporting > Sponsored ads reports. Create 3 reports: Search Term report, Campaign report, and Placement report. Set the time period to "Last 30 days" and download the CSV files once they're generated.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All analysis runs 100% in your browser using JavaScript. Your CSV files are never uploaded to any server. Data is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB and can be cleared at any time.
Which report types are supported?
Currently supports Sponsored Products reports from Amazon Advertising. The parser handles both US and international formats (CAD, GBP, EUR currencies) and auto-detects the marketplace.
What does each goal mode do?
Launch: tolerates high ACOS to build ranking and reviews. Rank: pushes for top positions on target keywords. Efficiency: minimizes waste while maintaining sales volume. Profit: maximizes profit per unit by cutting any unprofitable spend.
How often should I re-upload reports?
Weekly is ideal. Download fresh 30-day reports from Amazon each week, upload them, and take a snapshot. This lets you track whether your optimizations are improving performance over time.
Do I need all 3 reports?
The Search Term report is the most important (needed for triage and harvest). Campaign report enables budget analysis, and Placement report enables placement analysis. You can start with just the Search Term report and add others later.
