Amazon Raises Seller Fulfilled Prime Delivery-Speed Thresholds — Standard-Size One-Day Coverage Jumps From 30% to 40% of Page Views, With Higher Bars Across Every Size Tier Effective July 6, 2026

Effective: July 6, 2026
US merchant-fulfilled sellers enrolled in (or applying to) Seller Fulfilled Prime. Sellers whose current fast-delivery coverage sits just above the old thresholds are most at risk of falling out of compliance under the higher bars. Standard FBA sellers and non-Prime merchant-fulfilled sellers are not affected by these SFP-specific requirements.

Effective July 6, 2026, Amazon tightened the delivery-speed requirements sellers must meet to keep their Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) eligibility, raising the share of Prime page views that must show fast delivery across all three size tiers. For standard-size items, the one-day coverage threshold rose from 30% to 40% of page views and the two-day threshold from 70% to 75% (five-day stays at 90%). Oversize one-day coverage moved from 10% to 15% (with a new 80% five-day bar), and extra-large two-day coverage moved from 15% to 25% (with a 60% five-day bar). To ease the transition, Amazon is excluding weekends from speed-metric evaluation through October 17, 2026, and says it will launch a ZIP-code-level delivery-promise tool in September 2026 so sellers can set shipping times, weekend availability, and cut-off times per delivery ZIP.

Real-World Impact

A standard-size SFP offer that previously needed to show one-day delivery on 30% of Prime page views must now show it on 40% — a 10-percentage-point increase in the share of shoppers who must see a next-day promise for the offer to stay Prime-eligible.

Key Points

  • Effective July 6, 2026, Amazon raised the delivery-speed thresholds required to maintain Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) eligibility across all three size tiers
  • Standard-size items: one-day coverage raised from 30% to 40% of Prime page views, two-day from 70% to 75%; the five-day threshold stays at 90%
  • Oversize items: one-day coverage raised from 10% to 15%, with a five-day threshold of 80%
  • Extra-large items: two-day coverage raised from 15% to 25%, with a five-day threshold of 60% (no one-day threshold for this tier)
  • Weekends are excluded from speed-metric evaluation through October 17, 2026, giving sellers a transition window (weekend orders must still be fulfilled per program rules)
  • Amazon says it will launch a ZIP-code-level delivery-promise tool in September 2026, letting sellers set shipping times, weekend shipping availability, and cut-off times per individual delivery ZIP code

What You Should Do Now

  1. 1Check your current SFP delivery-speed metrics against the new thresholds for each size tier before the October 17, 2026 weekend-exclusion window closes
  2. 2Review your ship-from locations, carrier options, and regional coverage to raise the percentage of page views showing one- and two-day delivery
  3. 3Plan to adopt the ZIP-code-level delivery-promise tool when it launches in September 2026 to fine-tune shipping times, weekend availability, and cut-off times by ZIP
  4. 4Remember that weekend orders still must be fulfilled per program rules even though weekends are excluded from speed scoring during the transition
